 Today marks the four-year anniversary of my daughter's death. Writing THE CHILDREN has been cathartic for me. I'm not one to outwardly express my emotions so being able to convey them in writing has been a Godsend. Here are the first three chapters of my newest book.  Hi all, I've been busy working on a couple of different books. SURVIVING THE UNSURVIVABLE: DESPERATION (which I think will be the final book in the series, at least for now. At some point in the future, I might do a second trilogy that takes place a few years in the future) and a new series called THE CHILDREN. This is more your typical zombie-type book whereas the STU series was zombies on steroids. I found this one to be very difficult to write. It begins with the death of the nation's children, and having lost my own daughter, it was very emotional for me. I hope I was able to convey those emotions in the story. This one is written in the first-person format. So basically, you will only know what he knows but you'll be privy to all his thoughts and feelings. I am about halfway done with both of these books and plan to have them published before mid-December. Thank you for supporting me and my writing.   I just released STU2: Evolution and what an exciting ride! This book has more action and suspense than the first book and we learn more about some of the characters. There are some new characters along with some old favorites who take you along as they try to survive the unsurvivable. Thank you to everyone who is supporting me by purchasing my books. This has been a dream of mine for at least a couple of decades if not more and I am glad I can share it with you. NOTE: Hardcover copies are now available for all my books!

 I just completed the rough draft of the 2nd book in the exciting SURVIVING THE UNSURVIVABLE series. EVOLUTION is jam-packed with excitement as the Army tries to win the war against the zombies, mutants, and night hunters who have all been evolving into even more dangerous creatures. In this book, we explore some of the characters a little deeper and discover who they really are. There are a number of surprising twists and turns as things go wrong. I'm excited to be able to bring this story to life and I hope my readers enjoy it as much as I do. I can't wait to get it to the final draft and edited and I will be working furiously to make that happen as quickly as possible. As my daughter used to say, Peace, Love, and Dinosaurs!

 SURVIVING THE UNSURVIVABLE: MUTATION is almost complete. I worked on the cover today and I am pleased with how it is turning out although there are a few tweaks that I still need to make on it. The beta readers should be done in the next couple of days and after I receive their feedback, I can do the final edit. Theoretically, It could be released as early as the end of July but to be safe, I'm going to say the release date will be sometime in early August. I've been working on the 2nd book in the series, SURVIVING THE UNSURVIVABLE: EVOLUTION, and hope to finish the rough draft in a few weeks. If it all goes to plan, it should be released sometime mid to late September so be on the lookout for it.
